Press release
Swadesh Arora reviews the third exhibition of the New Group at Rabindra Bhawan, New Delhi, with Mona Rai, Meena Deva, Kanwal Khanna, Rajni Mehra, Amitava Das, Jai Zharotia and Kukkoo. Among drawings and prints on the stresses of contemporary life, Zharotia’s small, colourful paintings lighten the mood, treating the life around him with humour.
These works have a strong aesthetic as well as emotive appeal.
