A text by Ajay Zharotia reading the artist’s work through the idea of sandhya, the meeting of day and night, and through his birth chart. It traces his love of Kabir, his devotion to Shiva as Nataraja, and his belief that we always live in two worlds at once, one visible outside and one blossoming within.
It also recalls his silent bond with his father, a craftsman, which he wrote about in a poem, and describes how a painting truly begins for him only as it is about to be finished.
