दो खम्बे हैं सच और झूठ
घटना घटती है इन दो बिंदुओं के बीच
कभी होती है सच के नजदीक
कभी झूठ के
घटना में दृश्य बनता है
दृश्य होते हैं
दृश्य मोहता है
अटकाता है मन को
दृश्य के बीच खो जाता है ‘मैं’
तभी घटती है एक और घटना
बदल जाता है दृश्य
दृश्य के बीच दृश्य
यही क्रम है घटना का
घटना मेरे इर्द गिर्द रहती है
छुप जाती है दृश्य की तरह
घटना ना सच है ना झूठ
घटना घटना होती है
घटना वर्तमान होती है।

I never said that I am truth;
yes, I am not a lie either.
Truth and lie are two pillars;
an incident happens between these two points,
sometimes closer to truth,
sometimes closer to the lie.
In an incident a scene forms;
there are scenes;
the scene enchants,
it holds the mind;
amid the scene the ‘I’ is lost.
Then another incident happens,
the scene changes,
a scene within a scene.
This is the way of an incident.
Incidents stay around me,
hide like a scene.
An incident is neither truth nor lie;
an incident is an incident;
an incident is the present.
